What the company is

JustHostMe is a UK web hosting company that sells cPanel shared hosting, cloud hosting, reseller hosting and NVMe VPS to site operators and small businesses. The business behind it is JustHostMe Limited, registered in England and Wales on 30 August 2007, with its registered office in Gloucester and its head office and support team in Swindon, Wiltshire. Its servers sit in London on the OVH network, and the company says it has hosted UK websites since August 2007. For an adult operator the key fact is that both the terms and the knowledgebase allow adult content, with conditions tied to the law and to where the customer is based.

What it sells an operator

The NVMe web hosting plans run on NVMe servers with RAID 10 in London, with cPanel, Softaculous, LiteSpeed with LiteSpeed Cache, CloudLinux and KernelCare, and free Let's Encrypt SSL. The Starter plan lists 25 GB of NVMe storage, unlimited monthly bandwidth, 1 CPU core and 1 GB of memory, with CloudLinux limits on entry processes, IO and inodes. As of October 2026 it starts from £3.49 a month excluding VAT, and the compare page runs the shared range up to a top plan with 100 GB and 4 cores. A cloud hosting range adds more storage, higher process limits and priority support, from £10.49 a month on the home page.

The NVMe VPS line is the root-access option, sold as KVM virtual servers in London. In October 2026 the NVMe 50 VPS plan lists from £9.99 a month excluding VAT, with 50 GB of NVMe storage, 4 GB of guaranteed RAM, 2 CPU cores, 2 IP addresses, unlimited bandwidth and root SSH access, plus daily, weekly and monthly automated backups with free restores. A cPanel or Webuzo license is required, extra IPv4 addresses cost £3.00 a month each, and the Virtualizor panel handles OS reloads and reboots. Larger NVMe 100, 150 and 200 plans sit above it. Reseller hosting with cPanel and WHM starts from £13.99 a month, and the partners page names WHMCS as the automation tool for resellers.

Network claims come from the network page, which names OVH as the network partner. It says all hosting services include protection against DDoS attacks, through 160 Gbps anti-DDoS infrastructure in each of Roubaix, Strasbourg and Beauharnois, with mitigation of up to 480 Gbps, and it lists a 100% network uptime SLA. The terms say the company makes no guarantee to defend a website from a denial-of-service attack unless a specific mitigation service has been offered and agreed, a condition that sits beside the network claim.

The adult content policy

The terms bar unlawful pornography and say lawful adult content as permitted by applicable law is allowed on the servers, subject to any technical requirements the company reasonably imposes. If advance notification is required for a service, the company says it will tell the customer before activation. A customer who is not located in the UK and intends to upload adult content must contact the company before placing an order, and the company may decline service because of legal, regulatory, technical or operational risk. The knowledgebase gives the short version: adult sites are allowed and must be legal in the United Kingdom.

The terms also bar warez and copyrighted music or videos, or links to them, without the necessary rights, and they make the customer responsible for having created or having permission to use the material on the site and for resolving copyright disputes. The company says it does not routinely monitor content, but it may investigate reports and restrict access to or remove content where reasonably necessary. There is no formal DMCA notice page; abuse goes to an abuse department and a dedicated abuse address, and the support scope says abuse reports are acknowledged within 24 hours.

Video work is the restriction most relevant to adult operators. The terms say batch processing, video encoding or transcoding, web crawling, archiving and online backup systems are not permitted on shared or reseller servers, and may only be used with written agreement on a dedicated server. Unlimited allowances are subject to fair use, and a materially heavy account may be asked to configure a CDN or move to a more suitable service.

Billing, refunds and service terms

The terms list major credit and debit cards, direct debit, bank transfer and check as payment methods, and a stored card may be charged up to 7 days before the due date. Recurring services are billed in advance. A recurring service is canceled through the client area by 11.59pm UK time on the day before renewal, and a dedicated server needs 24 hours' written notice.

Late payment carries a fee and interest. Under section 14 of the terms read in October 2026, an invoice unpaid 7 days after its due date may attract a £5 late payment administration fee, and overdue amounts may carry interest at 4 percent a year above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily. Genuinely disputed amounts are exempt while under investigation. The chargeback clause says that if a payment is reversed without justification, the amount remains due, the company may suspend the affected services until it is repaid, and it may recover reasonable costs it actually incurred.

The 28-day money-back guarantee covers eligible shared hosting, and the customer must give notice within 28 days of opening the account. Refunds exclude domain registration, renewal and transfer charges, and the guarantee does not apply to dedicated servers. Approved refunds are normally processed within 7 working days. If a suspension not caused by the customer lasts more than 24 hours in a 7-day period, the terms say the price is adjusted, and after 120 hours the customer may end the service with a refund of prepaid sums. The company gives at least 30 days' notice before withdrawing a service.

The terms describe a 99.9 percent uptime target, excluding planned or emergency maintenance, and a target of a qualified engineer on a server problem within 30 minutes of notice, which they call a response target rather than a promise of resolution. Free migration aims for 72 hours without a guaranteed timeframe, and daily backups are taken where the backup system applies and stored offsite.

Getting started and support

Signup is online and the plans carry no contracts. The Starter page lists free domain setup and transfer help and a free website transfer on request. The company says its support runs 24/7/365 from its UK office in Swindon through live chat, email and support tickets. The support scope page, valid from 12 September 2026, says support is not provided by telephone and that tickets are acknowledged within 24 hours. It covers shared hosting, domain registration, DNS for services hosted with the company, cPanel use, email and account and billing queries, and it excludes custom development, application debugging, CMS plugins and themes and SEO advice. Customers are expected to keep their own backups and keep their sites up to date.

Company and track record

The company describes itself as independent and UK-based since 2007, with 100% UK-based staff, and says it has hosted UK websites for over 15 years. The about page mentions a partner program for developers and resellers. The green IT page credits OVH's water-cooled data centers, with a PUE the page puts between 1 and 1.2, and the terms list OVH as the infrastructure provider whose terms customers must also follow.

Who it suits

JustHostMe fits a UK-based adult site on cPanel that wants a low entry price, 24/7 live chat and a refund window, and an operator who needs root access on an NVMe VPS in London. Its reseller plans suit a host that bills through WHMCS.

The caveats are the legality condition and the pre-order contact step for customers outside the UK, the ban on video transcoding on shared and reseller servers, the lack of telephone support, fair-use limits on unlimited plans, and the absence of a formal DMCA procedure. The strength of the offer is plain, published terms: a written adult clause, NVMe plans with prices on every page, free migration, daily backups and a Swindon team on chat and tickets around the clock.
