What the company is

Inventive Hosting is a UK company that says it has provided hosting to the general public and to private companies since 2004. Its contact details give an address at the Advantage Business Centre in Manchester, trading as Inventive Creations. The UK servers sit in the Custodian data center in Kent, which the site calls a tier 4 facility, and a separate Netherlands page places European servers in the Smartdc facility in Rotterdam, described as TIER-IV with more than 12 carriers in house.

For a site operator the company is a managed hosting shop with its own adult product pages. It sells SSD shared accounts on cPanel, managed KVM virtual servers sold under an adult VPS heading, and fully managed dedicated servers. The adult shared page says every account can host unlimited websites, each as a separate site, and that customers can move up or down the plan ladder as their needs change.

What it sells an operator

The adult shared plans are priced by the year and run on the same 4 tiers in both locations: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. In October 2026 the UK adult page lists them from £15.99 to £79.99 a year, and the Netherlands page starts at $17.99 a year. Disk space runs from 2 GB to 50 GB, with unlimited bandwidth, websites, domains, MariaDB databases and email accounts on every plan. Each plan includes cPanel, Cloudflare, CloudLinux with CageFS, LiteSpeed, KernelCare, a PHP selector from 5.2 to 8.4, SpamAssassin and developer tools such as Git, Perl, Python and Ruby on Rails. The UK Gold and Platinum plans step up to 2 CPU cores and 4096 MB of memory, while every Netherlands plan holds 1 core and 2048 MB. The pages say there is no setup fee and no VAT charged.

The VPS product is a managed KVM server with Linux and cPanel and WHM as standard. In October 2026 the VPS page runs from £55 a month for 1 CPU core, 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, 40 GB of SSD storage and 1 TB of monthly bandwidth up to £79 a month for 2 cores, 8 GB of RAM and 80 GB of SSD. Every tier has a 1,000 Mbps uplink and 2 usable IP addresses. The platform runs on SSDs in hardware RAID 10 on a SAN with 10 Gbps fiber. The page lists video and audio streaming servers among the uses of a VPS and says customers can install software such as FFMPEG that cannot run on shared hosting. Management covers operating system and core software updates and regular audits.

The dedicated range is fully managed. In October 2026 the dedicated page starts at £185 a month for a Xeon E3-1230 server with 16 GB of RAM, 2 x 2 TB enterprise drives, unmetered bandwidth on a 1 Gbps uplink and 4 usable IPs, and runs up to a dual Xeon Gold build with 512 GB of RAM. Each package includes CloudLinux, KernelCare, full root access, cPanel and WHM, Softaculous Premium and daily and weekly backups. Custom builds add SSD or NVMe drives, up to 1 TB of RAM, RAID layouts, firewalls and operating systems including CentOS, Windows Server, FreeBSD, Debian and Ubuntu, in 6 locations: London, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando and Rotterdam. The page says there are no setup fees.

The adult content policy

The terms say the company does allow adult web content on its servers. In the same clause they prohibit using the services to store, post, display, transmit or advertise sexual material involving children, and they say the company will notify law enforcement when it becomes aware of it. The terms also state that the company does not monitor customers' sites in general, but once it becomes aware of a breach it may act, including by shutting a site down or removing data.

Several rules sit beside that statement and matter for a tube or video site. The terms bar warez, nulled software, websites that distribute or stream movies, music, software or MP3s, and file backup storage. A web hosting account may not use more than 70% of its disk usage for multimedia files, which the terms define as graphics, audio and video, and FTP may not be used for webcam broadcasting. Any breach is treated as a material breach, whether or not the customer knew what was on the site. The pages set out no separate approval step and no record-keeping rule for adult accounts.

Copyright and abuse handling

The terms make the customer responsible for the content of their pages, including legal permission for any works they include, and they say the company may remove material it deems inappropriate without prior notice and may be required to give information to the police about illegal content. The pages do not publish a formal DMCA or takedown procedure. Warnings are given first where possible so a customer can remove banned content before service is withdrawn.

On shared servers an account may use no more than 10% of server resources, and shared hosting is limited to serving web content over HTTPS; backup storage, grid computing and bandwidth sinks count as misuse. Accounts above 100,000 inodes may be dropped from the backup system, and accounts above 250,000 are at risk of suspension after a warning. Email marketing needs confirmed double opt-in, written consent records kept for the life of the list, and no purchased or rented lists. IRC servers, proxy scripts and torrent trackers are banned on shared and reseller servers.

Payment, renewal and refunds

Payment is monthly or yearly by credit or debit card, PayPal or bank transfer, and the company offers no credit. Accounts renew automatically unless the customer has given notice. The terms ask for cancellation 7 days before the renewal date for every account type, while the FAQ says shared accounts can be closed by email with no notice and VPS and dedicated servers need 7 days. A canceled annual account gets no refund for unused time, and the company may cancel an account at any time without notice.

Late payment carries set fees, listed in the terms read in October 2026: £25 to reactivate a VPS 5 days past due and £50 for a dedicated server 15 days past due, plus a restore fee for shared accounts recovered from cold backups after 7 days. Accounts with a set bandwidth allowance pay for usage above it, and price changes come with 30 days' written notice.

The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to shared accounts, which get a full refund inside that window. The pages state no such guarantee for VPS or dedicated servers.

Getting started and support

Shared accounts are set up as soon as payment is confirmed; the FAQ asks VPS and dedicated customers to allow up to 48 hours. Migration is free, and the company says it can move files, databases and email from an old provider, often with little or no downtime. Shared servers are backed up offsite every night, with 31 days of restore points and databases backed up every 12 hours, and customers can restore themselves or ask for a free restore.

Support runs by ticket and email 24 hours a day, and the support page says the team is in house and speaks English as a first language. The VPS page describes a 24-hour trouble-ticket system for first and second-line issues, and dedicated customers get an account manager reachable by email and phone, with round-the-clock human monitoring.

Company and track record

The company says it has traded since 2004 and builds its servers on Supermicro chassis and motherboards, with Intel Xeon processors, DDR4 memory and LSI hardware RAID 10. Its network page credits several tier-1 carriers and claims 100% uptime on the basis that at least 2 other lines take over if one fails, a claim the company makes about itself. The portal also lists shared hosting in Los Angeles, Dallas and Singapore, though the adult plans are published for the UK and the Netherlands.

Who it suits

Inventive Hosting suits an adult site that wants a low-cost cPanel shared plan with a refund window, either in the UK or in Rotterdam, and an operator who would rather have the host manage the server than run it. The managed VPS is the step for a site that needs FFMPEG or streaming, and the dedicated range covers a larger site that wants a whole server with support included.

The caveats are in the terms: file-distribution and streaming sites, heavy multimedia storage and webcam broadcasting over FTP are restricted on web hosting accounts, there is no published DMCA procedure, and the refund guarantee covers shared accounts only.

The strength of the offer is the managed approach: free migration, 24/7 support, adult pages with published prices for shared and VPS, and a choice of UK and Dutch facilities.
