What the forum is
GFY is a discussion forum for webmasters, site owners and marketers in the adult business. The pages use "GFY" as the short name, its full name is GoFuckYourself.com, and every page title calls it an Adult Webmaster Forum. The copyright line runs from 2000 and carries the name AI Media Network Inc. The forum runs on vBulletin, version 6.2.1 according to the footer, and the terms of service name MH Sub I, LLC as the developer of that software.
The forum is one site with many boards, grouped under headings such as Simply Business, Your Business Needs and Things to Know. Beside the boards, the menu links Blogs, Articles, Groups, Galleries, a Member List and a Calendar. The front page reports 945 active members alongside its totals, and the oldest thread among its pages, a question about page counters, dates from February 2001.
What it offers an operator
GFY lists no product for sale. It offers access to members and to boards where members trade with one another. The boards an operator is most likely to use are these.
Fucking Around & Business Discussion is the largest board, with 1,000,620 topics and 16,727,560 posts. Its description invites members to discuss what is going on and which programs work and which do not, and it allows one-time program announcements from established webmasters.
The Business Discussion board is for the mainstream side of members' businesses. Its description says many members run businesses in both adult and mainstream, names FOREX, dating, gambling, gaming and herbal products as examples, and offers it as the place to find "new traffic opportunities, new programs to promote". It holds 3,883 topics.
The Announcements board is addressed to members who are not advertisers on GFY but have a new promo for an affiliate program or a new site in a program, and its description tells them to "Spam your program announcements here." Event announcements belong on the same board. It holds 10,822 topics and 57,147 posts.
The GFY Educational Series offers learning "from top industry professionals" on SEO, content management, automation and marketing, and holds 166 topics. One of its threads is a long guide to WordPress themes for adult blogs, aimed at people just starting a site. A Webmaster Q & Fuckin' A board under the same heading carries technical questions, such as which tube script a site uses or which tubes offer an API.
Under Your Business Needs, the Sell and Buy Forum calls itself "The place for sellers and buyers to get together" and lists "work, sigs, designs, traffic, gallery spots, cars, whatever" as things members trade. It holds 100,197 topics and 678,595 posts, and ad placements on member sites are among its listings. The GFY Content Market, a separate board, describes itself as "The best place to sell and buy your content", with 5,240 topics.
The GFY Jobs and Services Market invites members to post resumes, open positions and services the industry needs, such as "Video Editing, blog writing, encoding, programming". It holds 10,671 topics. The Traffic Trades/Gallery Requests board describes itself as the place to "Post traffic trades or gallery requests", and holds 49,436 topics.
The Announcements wording shows that GFY has advertisers, but the pages publish no advertising rates or sponsor packages, and posting on the boards carries no fee.
Member tools
The help pages describe the tools a registered member gets. Members can keep a profile with an avatar and a signature, send private messages and visitor messages, subscribe to discussions, ignore another member and manage privacy and notifications. They can start topics and polls, share photos, links and videos, attach files and format posts with BBCode. Members can also create a blog with extra owners, start a group with its own moderators and permissions, and keep photo albums. A reputation system and a flag for inappropriate content are part of the same toolset, and login can run through Facebook Connect.
The terms that decide the choice
The terms of service set the posting rules. Rudeness, profanity and attempts to bypass the profanity filter, insulting posts and personal attacks are not tolerated, and the moderators' decision is final. Meaningless topics and one-word posts are discouraged, and multiple or repeated posts to raise a post count are not allowed. Advertising, spamming and trolling are not allowed, and the rule names the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private messages as places where spam is barred. Members should wait before bumping a post: 24 hours for style changes and general how-to questions, and 12 hours for specific troubleshooting, as a guideline.
The terms say GFY does not allow posts or links to sites that are "sexual in nature" or that break the forum's community standards, and that the moderators are the sole arbiter of what breaks those standards. The terms also rule out discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations. By agreeing to the rules, members warrant that they will not post messages that are "obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening", or otherwise against the law.
The terms add that the administrators and moderators try to keep objectionable messages off the site but cannot review every message, that messages express the views of their authors, and that the owners may remove, edit, move or close any content item for any reason. Neither the owners nor the developer of vBulletin accept responsibility for what members post.
On the Sell and Buy Forum, the board description says "Buyer beware, GFY is not responsible for bad deals." That is the forum's only statement on trades between members; it describes no escrow and no dispute process for deals. The pages describe no DMCA or copyright takedown procedure beyond the rule on intellectual property.
Getting started and support
The terms say "Registration to this forum is free!" and that members must abide by the rules and policies set out there. The front page offers a login and says a subscribed-posts view needs an account. The help page explains how topics, replies, quotes, multi-quotes and sticky topics work, and says the New Topic and Post Reply buttons may be missing for a visitor who is not logged in or lacks permission, or when a topic is closed to replies.
A board titled GFY Rules and Regulations, marked as the first thing new members should read, holds 2 topics and warns that the ban hammer can be swift. The rules themselves are on the terms of service page.
The contact page is a form addressed to the forum administrator. It offers the subjects Site Feedback, Registration Problem and Other, and asks for a name, an email address, a message and an image verification. No support hours or response time are given.
Company and track record
The pages name AI Media Network Inc in the copyright line and MH Sub I, LLC as the developer of the forum software. They name no team members beyond "administrators and moderators", and no location.
The activity figures are the forum's own. Its front page reports 1,268,734 topics, 19,367,328 posts and 206,304 members, and says the most users ever online at once was 406,785, on 07-15-2026.
Who it suits
GFY suits a site operator or marketer who wants a large peer forum for discussing programs, traffic and business, with boards for announcements, trades, content, services and tutorials under one free registration. A program owner who wants to post an announcement, a tube owner who wants to sell ad spots, or a buyer looking for a programmer or content will find a board for each.
It does not suit an operator who needs vetted deals or a vendor with service terms: trades happen between members, and the forum disclaims responsibility for them. The rules on advertising, the moderators' final say and the open Announcements board are the terms to read before posting.
Its strength is scale and age. The forum's own figures report 206,304 members and 1,268,734 topics, with threads reaching back to 2001, and its boards cover business, announcements, services and tutorials in one place.
