What the show is

ANE, the Adult Novelty Expo, is a trade show for the pleasure products business, and its pages also call it AVN Novelty Expo. The copyright line names AVN Media Network. The home page bills it as "The Premier Pleasure Product Expo" and describes three days of B2B exhibits, buyer meetings and expert seminars. In its own words, ANE is "a B2B experience open only to qualified industry members", with vendors and buyers meeting for three days of exhibits and networking. The 2027 edition runs January 20 to 22, 2027 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, which is the venue, the host hotel and the place where badges are collected.

For the operator of an online adult store, the show is a place to meet the manufacturers, distributors and brands that supply its catalog, see new product lines on one floor and sit in on seminars about retail, sourcing and buying. It is a physical event, and the pages sell nothing for running a website itself.

What it sells a store operator

The event sells badges, a place in the VIBE buyer program, exhibit booths and sponsorships. The Buyer Badge gives access to the ANE show floor, the educational program, VIP seating at the 'O' Awards, the AVN Expo and AVN Biz Lounge, and all official parties, and the event page marks it as free. The Trade Pass covers the show floor, the educational program, the AVN Expo, the AVN Biz Lounge and the official parties, without the awards seating. In October 2026 the registration section of the event page lists the Trade Pass at $300.

VIBE, short for Very Important Buyer, is in the program page's words "An exclusive, invitation-only program for the industry's largest buyers". Its members get a 4 night stay at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, private pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with pleasure product manufacturers, a hosted breakfast and lunch each day, VIP seating at the AVN Awards, access to a VIBE lounge away from the show floor, and the networking events. VIBE members follow the full ANE schedule on top of their own breakfast and lunch. The page meta describes the program as an experience for high-volume retailers and verified buyers. No price for VIBE is printed; the page says space is limited and the program fills quickly.

The expert seminars are part of every badge. The page lists panels on retail trends, sourcing and buyer strategy, led by brands and industry executives, and includes them with both the Buyer Badge and the Trade Pass. One agenda session, "So You Want to Open Your Own Store", has current store owners discussing cash flow, inventory, staffing, zoning laws and taxes, written for people opening a brick and mortar shop.

The 'O' Awards, held on January 20 in the Skybox, celebrate the past year's achievements in pleasure products, and the AVN Award pleasure product categories are announced live there.

The event page gives its own figures for the show: 250+ brands, 1,500+ media outlets, 30+ networking events and 15,000+ industry attendees. Its exhibit call offers a showcase to 15,000+ industry attendees and 50+ brands under one roof, and says booth space is limited. Exhibitors reserve a booth, ask about packages or request the exhibitor prospectus through the contact page; sponsorship covers title sponsorships, brand activations and partnership opportunities. Booth and sponsorship prices are not printed.

The hotel block is the other place the pages print a rate. In October 2026 the hotel section of the event page gives $215 a night as the starting rate for the ANE group block at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, available by booking inside the room block.

The terms that decide the choice

Eligibility is the first question. The FAQ says a free Buyer Badge is for distributors, retailers, exporters, mail order companies, large home party organizers and other individuals and companies involved in volume purchases. Retailers and mail order companies are on that list, and the FAQ draws no line between physical and online shops; the test it states is buying in volume.

Attendees must be 18 years or older. Badges are issued to an individual: the FAQ says a ticket cannot be shared with another person and that badges are not transferable between event sessions or days. The organizer takes no responsibility for lost or misplaced badges, and there is no refund or replacement for a lost one. The footer links a Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and an 18 U.S.C. 2257 statement. Refund and cancellation terms for registrations, hotel bookings and booths are not printed on the event pages.

Getting started and support

A buyer registers through the Register Free button. The FAQ says a confirmation email follows registration, and that the confirmation is brought to the registration desk in the Opal Tower Lobby at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas to collect the badge. The agenda, in Pacific Time, runs from Wednesday January 20 to Saturday January 23: registration opens at 8:00 AM and runs to 8:00 PM, the VIBE breakfast is for VIBE participants only, and the expo floor opens from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda advises picking up credentials early so that access to official events is not delayed.

The property map places the show floor in Sage, the Business Lounge in The Theater and the awards and parties in the Skybox. Exhibitors start from the Apply to Exhibit link and an exhibitor directory, sponsors from a sponsorship page, and the press asks for passes, interviews and media kits through the contact page. The contact page has a web form, and the FAQ names three teams: Info and Registration for badges and access, an Event Team for Business Lounge reservations and event questions, and a Sales Team for exhibitor applications, booth availability and sponsorship packages. A newsletter signup sits on the home page.

Company and track record

AVN Media Network is the only company the pages name. The navigation places the show inside a wider AVN Week with the AVN Business Lounge, the AVN Awards and the GayVN Awards, and links Virgin Hotels LV beside them. Social links run under the AVNMedia handle.

The event page quotes four exhibitors in their own words. Paradise Marketing calls it a show that has proved beneficial for keeping and winning business. Rascal Toys/ Boneyard Toys calls it the strongest show of its 20-year history and says it wrote the most show orders it ever has. Vabomb says it made connections from all over the world, and Maia Toys says it looks forward to AVN week every year. No founding year for ANE is given.

Who it suits

ANE fits an online adult store that buys stock and wants to see manufacturers, distributors and brands across three days in one place, with seminars on retail trends, sourcing and buyer strategy included in the badge. A store owner who wants to meet suppliers in person before placing orders will find the show built for that, and a high-volume buyer can ask about VIBE for scheduled one-on-one meetings.

It is a weaker fit for a site whose income comes from advertising, subscriptions or search traffic, since the show covers physical products only. The free badge is meant for buyers who purchase in volume, VIBE is invitation-only with no printed price, booth space is limited, and the event pages print no refund terms for the hotel block or booths. The show's strength is concentration: one week in Las Vegas where the pleasure products trade's buyers, brands and media meet, with the awards and parties the trade gathers around.
