What the forum is
Gay Wide Webmasters is an online message forum for people who build, run or sell to adult websites with a gay audience. Its main board is the "Gay Adult Market Webmaster Discussion Forums", described as a resource discussion forum "For All Gay Business Orientated And General Webmaster Chat Topics", and the site's own description calls it a "Gay Adult Industry Community Message Forums." The front page carries adult industry boards, a mainstream marketing board and announcement boards side by side, so trade talk, sales posts and press releases sit under one registration.
The forum runs on vBulletin, which its FAQ and login messages name. The footer copyright line names Paysite.com, the only company that appears anywhere on the forum, and times are shown in GMT -4.
What it offers a site operator
The front page lists its boards, each with a short description written by the forum and its own thread and post counts.
The main Gay Adult Industry Forum is where most of the activity sits: it shows 27,184 threads and 214,997 posts, with its latest post dated 09-08-2026. It is the general discussion board for the gay adult webmaster trade.
The Content Production board describes itself as a place to "Discuss and ask questions about anything related to producing and distributing Adult content." It shows 90 threads and 254 posts, and its most recent post is dated 09-02-2026.
The buy and sell board, labeled GWW Buy and Sell Flea Market, says "This is the place to post everything for sale and swap services You may also post advertisement sales and traffic in here." It holds 1,679 threads and 6,904 posts. It is the board where the forum itself names advertising and traffic as things members may offer, although its latest post on the front page is an unrelated consumer sale listing.
The Industry Announcements and Learning Center groups the trade boards. Affiliate Updates is where sponsors post their latest program updates for potential resellers, in the board's words, and it shows 1,254 threads and 1,635 posts. The News and Announcement Center, which the forum calls the place to keep up with what is happening in the news, invites members to "add any announcements or PR's here" and holds 8,080 threads and 23,450 posts; its latest entry is a sponsor's press post from 08-20-2026. The Webmaster Articles + Tutorials board offers "Hundreds Of Adult Industry And Mainstream Articles And Tutorials In One Place", with 352 threads and 717 posts. The Webmaster Projects & Step-by-Step Guides board promises guides to starting and completing projects for more traffic, sales and conversions, with 11 threads and 56 posts.
The Mainstream Gay Marketing board covers "Marketing Outside Of The Adult Industry" in a business-oriented setting, with 224 threads and 1,025 posts.
So the forum gives an operator a discussion space for the gay adult trade and for production and distribution questions, a place to post sales, swaps, ad space and traffic, a board where sponsors post program updates, a press release board and a tutorial archive. No paid placement, sponsor package or media kit is offered: what the forum gives is access and visibility among its members.
The terms that decide the choice
The forum publishes no written content policy on its public pages. Its FAQ index lists "Signature + Posting Rules" and a Board FAQ covering general forum usage, settings and profile features, and reading and posting messages, but the text of those rules is not shown to guests.
Moderation is visible through the forum's own Spam-O-Matic figures. The statistics block reports 252564 spammers denied registration, 26 spammers permanently banned, 22 spammers submitted to StopForumSpam, and 885909 spammy posts that it describes as "Automatically Moderated". Those are the forum's own numbers for its filter. Some spam still reaches the boards: the latest posts on the flea market and on a smaller trans market board are off-topic sale and casino listings.
Access levels are spelled out. A guest has limited access and can view most discussions; a registered member can post topics, send private messages, respond to polls and upload content. The login page asks only for a user name and a password. Membership is free, and no fee, contract, payout or takedown procedure is published.
Getting started and support
Registration is, in the forum's words, "fast, simple and absolutely free", and the front page says a visitor "may have to register before you can post". The front page welcomes the newest member by user name.
The login page offers a "Remember Me?" option. If an account cannot post, the login message says the administrator may have disabled it or that it may be awaiting activation. How long activation takes is not stated.
For problems with registration or login, the front page links to a contact form, with no email address, phone number or support hours printed. The navigation also offers a calendar, a What's New view, an advanced search, an RSS feed for every board, a Mark Forums Read control, a mobile style and an archive view, and members get private messages, subscriptions and a Who's Online list.
Company and track record
The statistics block reports 42,382 threads, 286,633 posts and 4,264 members across the whole forum, which is the forum's own record of its activity. The latest posts on the front page run from 2025 into October 2026, with the main discussion board and the content production board active in September 2026. Paysite.com holds the copyright; no founding year, team or location is published.
Who it suits
The forum suits a webmaster or site operator in the gay adult market who wants a free place to talk shop with peers, ask production and distribution questions, see sponsor updates and press releases, post ad space or traffic for sale, and read a tutorial archive.
It does not suit an operator looking for a paid product such as hosting, a script, billing or an ad network, because the forum sells none of them.
Three caveats stand out: the posting rules are hidden behind registration, some boards carry spam among member posts, and sponsor and traffic offers on the boards are the posters' own statements rather than the forum's.
The strongest point is depth in one free place: a main board showing 214,997 posts, plus sales, sponsor updates, news and tutorials under a single registration.
