A placement service with a page for adult merchants

HighRiskMerchantProcessors is a merchant account placement service for businesses that generalist processors decline. Its homepage says it places files across 12+ acquiring banks, domestic and offshore, and claims 25 years of experience. The adult page is aimed at operators of content platforms, fan sites, cam networks, dating sites and novelty retailers, and describes the service as card acceptance placed with adult-specialized acquirers and gateways. The pages do not name a legal entity, a street address or a founder. The footer lists Florida and Michigan under locations, which is all the pages say about where the company sits.

The vendor is a broker and gateway matcher rather than a bank. Its pitch is that adult-specialized acquirers price for the vertical, tolerate higher chargeback ratios and supply the recurring billing that subscription sites need, and that the operator gets a dedicated merchant ID rather than a slot in an aggregator's pool.

What it sells an operator

The adult page lists what the account includes:

  • Recurring billing covering subscription, pay-per-view and pay-per-minute charges, with retry logic.
  • Multi-currency processing in 60+ currencies for global content platforms.
  • Chargeback alerts through Verifi and Ethoca, described as pre-dispute deflection.
  • Discreet billing descriptors, with the stated aim of cutting "don't recognize this charge" disputes.
  • 3DS2 and friendly-fraud tools, and access to offshore acquirers.

The features page adds detail. Recurring billing is described as rebills under merchant-initiated rules with network tokens, an account updater and intelligent retry. ACH debits are offered with same-day settlement. Multi-currency is described as local acquiring for merchants in the EU, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan. The homepage lists fraud tools (velocity rules, BIN blocking, 3DS2, and filters it calls AI-driven), a virtual terminal and next-day funding, and says accounts accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Gateway integrations named are NMI, Authorize.Net, USAePay and custom API connections, and the homepage shows Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Magento and OpenCart as platform options.

Offshore placement has its own page. It lists where accounts are placed: the EU (Malta, Cyprus, Lithuania, Estonia), the UK and Gibraltar, APAC (Hong Kong, Singapore, Mauritius) and the Caribbean (St. Vincent, Curaçao, BVI). It lists settlement in EUR, GBP, USD and other major currencies. It also describes offshore accounts as carrying higher chargeback tolerance and volume caps.

A separate page covers stores on Shopify. It lists adult among the verticals that Shopify Payments declines, and describes placing a high-risk gateway from Shopify's approved provider list so the storefront stays in place, with a tokenized card vault and subscription rebills.

Pricing and terms

Pricing is a quote, with published bands as a starting point. In October 2026 the adult page gave adult pricing as a range of 4.45% to 6.95% plus $0.30, with 10% rolling reserves held for 180 days, and that established platforms with strong cohort retention step down over time. The pricing page shows a Standard tier at 2.95% plus $0.25 for established merchants with clean processing history, and a Premium tier for higher-risk verticals, naming CBD, crypto and nutraceuticals. Neither tier names adult. A third tier, Offshore and Enterprise, is custom, aimed at high monthly volume, restricted verticals or multi-entity setups, with custom reserves. The offshore page gives reserves of 5% to 15% rolling. Final rates, the pricing page says, depend on industry, volume and processing history, and a quote comes within 24 hours.

On contract length, the homepage lists no long-term contracts. It also says chargeback mitigation is included and a dedicated account manager comes with the account, described as a person rather than a ticket queue. A disclaimer at the foot of the adult page says approval is subject to underwriting and risk review, that not all businesses qualify, and that rates, terms and volumes vary with industry, risk profile, processing history and acquiring bank requirements.

The adult page explains why it classes the vertical as high risk: MCC 5967 for adult digital goods, and adult dating, carry heavy structural chargeback exposure, with friendly fraud and unrecognized-charge disputes described as routine. Its FAQ answers the 2257 question in a few lines: the page says U.S.-hosted content needs 2257 record-keeping, that every platform needs an age-verification gateway on entry, and that the company reviews both during onboarding. Other FAQ answers say recurring billing is provisioned with tokenization, an account updater and intelligent retry, that descriptors should be discreet but recognizable and match the site name, and that cam, fan platforms, novelty retail and dating are all approved verticals. No acceptable use policy, content rules, DMCA or takedown procedure, payout schedule for adult accounts or early termination terms appear on the pages, so those are questions for the sales team.

Getting started and support

Applying begins with a free approval review, which the form calls a soft review with no credit check and no obligation. The homepage says the form has 7 fields and that the file is then shopped across the bank network. It states approvals in 24-48 hours and a live merchant ID, gateway credentials and next-day funding on approval. The Shopify page gives a longer sequence: same-day soft pre-qualification, 1-2 days of document collection, 1-5 days of underwriting, and a plugin live the same day after approval. The offshore page says offshore approvals take 5-14 business days against 24-72 hours domestic.

Documents listed on the Shopify page include 3 months of bank statements, 3 months of prior processing statements, a live site with refund, terms, privacy and contact pages, ID for owners, a voided check and formation papers. Support runs Monday to Friday 8a-8p ET and Saturday 10a-4p ET by phone and email, and the pricing page lists 24/7 support on the Offshore and Enterprise tier.

Company and track record

The homepage carries the vendor's own statistics: a 98% approval rate, 12+ acquiring banks, 25 years of experience, and the adult page invites operators to join 4,200+ high-risk merchants. These are marketing claims. The only customer reference is a testimonial from a CBD merchant on the homepage. The pages give no founding year.

Who it suits

Under high-risk merchant accounts, the vendor covers a broad list of verticals, with adult one of them, through domestic and offshore acquirers. Under adult payment processors, the useful material is the adult page: the pay-per-view and pay-per-minute billing, descriptor setup, pre-dispute alerts and the stated rate band and reserve.

It suits a content platform, cam network or dating site that wants a published starting range before a call, and one that needs offshore capacity alongside a domestic account. It suits a Shopify store looking for a gateway on the approved list. A caveat is that the adult range is wide and the page does not say what moves a merchant within it, and a site that needs a written content policy up front will not find one here. The strength is how much is stated in numbers on the public pages: rate bands, reserve length, approval windows and coverage regions.
