What FirmEU is
FirmEU is an Amsterdam-based matchmaking and introduction service for businesses that struggle to find payment processors and banks, with a dedicated section for adult and dating companies. The legal entity is FirmEU B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 85553972, with its office in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht in the Netherlands. The point to grasp first is what it is not. The disclaimer on its adult banking page states that FirmEU is not a financial institution, holds no banking, payment or electronic money license, and does not open accounts, process payments or hold client funds. For a site operator it is a route to a processor or a bank, not the processor itself.
That distinction shapes everything else on the pages. A tube owner, a paysite or a cam platform that wants a merchant account does not sign with FirmEU for processing. It fills in a profile, FirmEU matches it against criteria, and introductions follow. The agreements that carry money are signed with the institution.
What it offers a site operator
The introductions that matter to an adult operator start with payment processor matching, described on the adult payment processing page as connecting content platforms, studios, subscription services and entertainment providers with processors that accept adult-related merchants. Next comes bank account matching, described on the adult banking page as connecting adult and dating businesses with banking partners that support regulated digital entertainment models. Last is cross-border payments, where FirmEU introduces businesses to aggregators and financial institutions for international settlement.
The method is the same each time. A business shares key details about the company, its operating markets and its banking or payment needs through a checklist. The profile is matched on operating model, regions and transaction characteristics, and FirmEU then coordinates direct introductions to the selected partners. The adult payment processing page says it evaluates the business structure and transaction flow so that an operator does not have to contact many providers one by one, and it names matching by model and region as the core filter.
The network is the headline claim. Several pages cite 250+ partners, and the adult banking page calls them banking partners open to adult and entertainment sectors. The about page adds a statistic of 180 currencies and 10+ business models. The pages say the network includes processors, acquirers and banks that serve cross-border operations, and they pitch the service as a way to skip weeks of trial and error.
The adult banking page names the frictions it targets: policy-driven account rejection, limited institutional coverage because of reputational sensitivity, and cross-border payout constraints, with international settlements and creator payouts singled out as difficult to arrange. The site menu also lists physical POS systems and payment orchestration, which the adult pages do not describe.
Terms that decide the choice
The terms are unusually explicit, and they are the most useful part of the pages. Approval decisions, onboarding requirements and KYC checks belong solely to the financial institution, and FirmEU answers the guarantee question with a flat no. The general terms add that FirmEU does not guarantee response times, onboarding timelines, acceptance or outcomes, that it takes no part in acceptance or compliance decisions, and that all agreements are between the business and the institution, with FirmEU involved in no money flow. They state that FirmEU does not act as a bank, payment service provider, lender, broker or financial intermediary, gives no financial, legal, tax or regulatory advice, and does not recommend any specific institution.
The terms also say FirmEU relies on the information a business gives it and does not validate it, that the business consents to sharing its information with institutions, that liability is limited to fees paid by the business, if any, and that Dutch law and Dutch courts govern. The pages publish no fee for the matching service itself, so the phrase "if any" is all an operator learns. FirmEU states that it may be paid a fee by the financial institutions it introduces and that this does not affect onboarding decisions. The terms describe a preliminary agreement formed when the client accepts the FirmEU Engagement Letter online, with a signed hard copy available on request.
One gap deserves a close reading. The adult payment processing page says FirmEU coordinates introductions to ensure fair pricing and transparent terms, and another sector page says it negotiates pricing and contract terms. The disclaimer, by contrast, says FirmEU is not an agent of any institution and has no authority to bind, negotiate or commit any third party. An operator should treat FirmEU as the introducer and expect the fees, reserves, chargeback rules and payout terms to be set in the institution's own documents. The pages name no partner processor and publish no processing rate, reserve, payout schedule or content policy.
Getting started and support
The route in is the Get Matched checklist. The contact page says merchants must apply through that tab for banking, payment processing or cross-border payments, with a separate form for other questions, a meeting booking option, a WhatsApp number, a phone number and an email address. The cross-border page describes a free consultation first, then submission of documents with guidance through KYC and KYB, then launch. The pages give no support hours and no stated matching timeline.
Company and track record
The about page frames FirmEU as specialized in cross-border payments, payment processing and banking, and lists a team of payment and banking experts alongside business development, marketing, partnership and platform roles. The pages do not state a founding year. They carry client testimonials and publish blog guides on topics such as accepting payments for adult content and opening an adult business bank account. The corporate details are specific: a Dutch registration number, a VAT number and the Amsterdam-Duivendrecht address.
Who it suits
Across high-risk merchant accounts and adult payment processors, FirmEU suits an operator that has been declined, or that does not know which acquirers accept adult traffic in its region, and wants a shortlist of introductions instead of cold outreach. For ewallets and banking, the bank account matching and multi-currency and cross-border pages are the relevant offer, which can help a platform that pays creators or sells across borders.
The limits come from the model. FirmEU guarantees no approval, names no partners, and publishes no prices for processors or banks, so an operator cannot compare anything numerically before applying. It also is not a one-step option for an operator who wants a merchant account issued and a gateway switched on from a single contract. What it does well is stated plainly in its own terms: a focused introduction service across banking, processing and cross-border payments for adult and dating businesses, with its role and its disclaimers set out in writing.
