A payments company with an adult-specific merchant account
SensaPay Inc. is a Los Angeles payments company whose head office is listed at 6300 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 1230. Its footer states that SensaPay Inc. is a registered ISO/MSP of Merrick Bank in Old Bethpage, NY, and of Synovus Bank in Columbus, GA. That wording matters to an operator, because it tells you who sits behind the merchant account: SensaPay presents itself as the sales and service layer for processing run through partner banks, not as a bank.
The company is a general payments vendor first. Its site covers a gateway, invoicing, point of sale, ACH and B2B payments, and its industry list runs from travel and telemedicine to IPTV, SaaS and digital goods. Adult has its own page under the high-risk section, headed Adult Merchant Accounts and Payment Processing, and that page is the one that matters to a site operator. It names the kinds of adult business it supports: content subscription platforms, adult e-commerce and product retailers, live cam and interactive services, and dating and adult social networks. For cam and live streaming sites it says merchants can process tips, tokens and time-based billing; for dating and social networks, membership fees, premium features and subscription tiers.
What it sells an operator
The core product is a dedicated merchant account paired with SensaPay's payment gateway. The gateway page describes direct merchant account ownership, transparent settlement and payout structures, and control over transaction routing, with underwriting applied during onboarding. For adult accounts the page adds, in the vendor's words: specialized underwriting that evaluates each account individually, a fraud toolset described as optimized for adult transactions, and discreet billing meant to cut chargebacks that come from customers not recognizing a charge.
Around that sits a set of tools a paysite or membership site will recognize. The adult page lists a payment gateway, subscriptions for recurring billing of memberships and content access, smart retries that re-attempt failed transactions, 3D Secure, chargeback management with real-time alerts, and a customer vault that stores payment details for repeat purchases. The smart retries page explains that retries use different payment networks and timing, reads decline codes, and can notify customers by email, SMS or in-app message so they can update a card. Other feature pages cover payment links, a virtual terminal, mobile payments, ACH, account updater and interchange optimization.
The gateway page lists credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and ACH, behind one integration, with pre-built plugins for major platforms and flexible APIs for custom setups. It describes branded checkout pages and forms that match the merchant's site. The vendor's own performance claims on that page are a 99.9% uptime guarantee and a 500ms average processing time; as of October 2026 these are the vendor's own claims.
Payment links get their own page. A link can be created from the dashboard in a few clicks, carry an expiration date or usage limit, and be shared across the online channels the page lists, which suits a site selling a single download, a tip or a one-off pass without building a cart.
Terms that decide the choice
The durable fact first: SensaPay states that it provides processing for "a wide range of legitimate adult entertainment businesses" and names the 4 business types above. The adult page does not publish a list of forbidden content, a content standard or an acceptable-use policy for adult merchants. It gives no approval criteria beyond the statement that each account is evaluated individually and that the underwriting team assesses the business model. What an operator can and cannot show on a site is therefore a question for the application stage, not something the public pages settle.
Pricing is the second point. In October 2026 the adult page's FAQ says processing fees run between 2.95% and 5%, depending on the risk the business carries and whether it sells online or in person, and it adds that this range does not include other costs such as monthly account fees. The pages do not print the monthly fee, a setup fee, a reserve, a chargeback fee or a contract term. The same FAQ poses questions on payouts to content creators, a minimum monthly processing volume, what happens if a chargeback ratio rises, billing statement wording and whether a merchant dropped by another processor can apply. Settlement is described only as transfers into the merchant's bank account "according to the set schedule", with no timing given.
Chargebacks get a clear framing. The adult page names the usual causes in its own words: customers who do not recognize the billing descriptor, embarrassment about the purchase, misunderstood subscription billing and someone else in the household spotting a charge. Its answer is a combination of discreet billing, 3D Secure, real-time alerts and chargeback management tools. It does not state a chargeback threshold or what happens to an account that crosses one. The pages carry no DMCA procedure; the adult page mentions age verification only as part of the compliance burden adult businesses face.
On data handling, the security policy describes TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage, role-based access control, an incident response plan with regular drills, annual policy review and regular audits, and it names the CCPA and GDPR. The gateway page lists PCI-DSS, encryption and two-factor authentication under its security features.
Getting started and support
The application route runs through numbered steps: complete an application with basic business information and processing needs, submit documentation, go through a compliance review, integrate and test, and start accepting payments, with post-launch support. The documents named are business registration, owner ID, and website or product details. The vendor says an application can be started in minutes, and it offers a payments consultation for high-risk businesses.
On integrations the adult page names the gateways Authorize.Net, NMI and Payrix; the e-commerce platforms Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce; adult CMS and paywall tools ModelCentro, FanCentro and ElevatedX; cam platforms such as MFC Share and Chaturbate-compatible systems; and the billing tools Chargebee and Recurly. For support it promises each adult merchant a dedicated account manager, and the gateway page lists 24/7 customer support. The About page adds dedicated client success managers and an in-house team of engineers for custom payment setups, and a toll-free sales line sits in the header. The contact form asks for the industry, with Adult Industry as an option, and for average monthly volume in brackets that start at $0 - $10k and end at $5M+, as of October 2026.
Company and track record
The pages do not give a founding year, a team or named adult clients. What they do state is the bank relationships in the footer, the Los Angeles head office, and a home page line about connecting to over 200 integrations. The site terms are governed by California law, with disputes going to state or federal court in Van Nuys. The security policy says the company reviews it annually and assesses third-party vendors before engaging them.
Who it suits
As a merchant account provider, SensaPay offers a direct account with adult underwriting and the sponsor banks named in the footer. As a processor, it offers a gateway with recurring billing, retries and 3D Secure that connects to paywall and cam tooling. It fits a paysite, membership site or cam platform that wants a single vendor for account and gateway, and an adult store that already runs Shopify or WooCommerce. The caveat is disclosure: the public pages leave reserves, account fees, settlement timing and content limits to the application, so an operator needs those answers in writing before comparing the quoted fee range with anything else. The strength is the combination of an adult-specific page, a clear application path and an integration list that already names the paywall and cam tools adult operators run.
