What the vendor is

Web Solutions calls itself a global domain registrar that has operated since 1998. Its corporate profile describes a London and Odense based firm that specializes in domain portfolio management, with services that cover registration, transfers of ownership, portfolio consolidation and analysis, domain strategy, annual maintenance and DNS work. The terms give the legal domicile as Web Solutions A/S in Odense, Denmark, and the contact page lists offices in London, Odense and Szczecin, Poland. For a site operator it is a registrar that handles adult extensions, can supply a local presence through a trustee service where a registry asks for one, and also sells European hosting, e-shop hosting and SSL certificates. The adult guide names the adult extensions the company offers: .SEX, .PORN and .SEXY, and the full price list adds .XXX.

What it sells an operator

In October 2026 the adult guide lists USD 239 for .SEX, USD 179 for .PORN and USD 99 for .SEXY, and the full domain list gives the same figures for renewal and USD 167 for .XXX. The list says everyone can register an unlimited number of .SEX, .PORN and .SEXY names, and marks .XXX as having no restrictions. The terms say fees are calculated in US dollars and that the renewal fees always include the registry's own fees.

The guide describes registering with or without a local presence. The customer chooses the registration type and sets DNS to meet the adult registry requirements before the order is confirmed; if DNS is left unset, the company's default name servers are used and can be changed later. The terms add that a domain registered on Web Solutions' DNS without forwarding instructions points to a default page that the company may use to market its own services.

The trustee service covers registrations that need a local presence. The company says it offers the most comprehensive trustee service of any registrar and acts as an underlying supplier to many other registrars, which are its own claims. Its home page cites 450+ TLDs in about 250 countries, also its own figure.

For portfolios the pages describe a hierarchical online module for accounts, users, user rights, billing options and domain profiles, bulk registration, consolidated invoicing and DNS management across groups of domains. A personally assigned account manager oversees the account, and the company says it prepares local-language letters and documents for the client's signature. Renewals are automatic: the portfolio page says the company renews every domain unless the customer cancels it.

Hosting comes in the Webhotel Quicknet, Business and Corporate packages, on Linux with Parallels Plesk Panel or on Windows. In October 2026 Quicknet is listed at $20.00 per month, with Business and Corporate above it, each with free setup. Quicknet includes 5 GB of disk space, 1 domain and 25 email accounts; Corporate tops the range with 15 GB, 5 domains and 100 email accounts. All three list unlimited traffic, daily backups, antivirus and anti-spam, PHP 7 and 8, Python, Perl, CGI, MySQL with phpMyAdmin and Git, with cron jobs and mod-rewrite on Linux. A separate set of Linux e-shop packages named Starter, Pro and Ready2go carries monthly traffic of 50 GB, 100 GB and 200 GB, 1-click installs for WordPress, PrestaShop and Magento, a free domain, Let's Encrypt SSL and an optional ePay payment module.

The terms that decide the choice

The adult guide tells the customer to check the complete domain regulations for each adult extension by clicking its status, and to set DNS to meet the adult registry requirements; the guide itself does not reproduce those regulations. The hosting pages state no adult content policy. The trustee terms carry a clause that matters for adult sites: if a proxy domain is used for illegal communication it is deleted or deactivated immediately, and "If a domain name is used to communicate content of an unethical or immoral nature, the domain name will be suspended until such time that the content has been altered to WS' satisfaction." The terms do not define that standard, and the clause applies to names held through the trustee service.

The terms say registration and maintenance fees can under no circumstances be refunded. A delay in registration is not valid grounds for canceling an order unless the delay is the company's fault, and a client who cancels anyway lets the company keep the registration fee. A premium domain ordered at regular rates by mistake can be declined by either side, with prepaid fees returned in that case. The company may change its standard fees on 30 days' notice and says increases are announced at least 60 days before they take effect.

Payment terms are 14 days net from the invoice date. In October 2026 the terms add a reminder fee of Euro 15,00 and an interest rate of 2.00% for each month past due on any amount owed, and say an unpaid account can go to debt collection and its domains be left to lapse or deleted. The terms accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and wire transfer, apply due diligence checks and verification to all new clients, and say some methods carry a processing fee. The hosting pages set a minimum rental period of 6 months, paid in advance, for the Webhotel and e-shop packages. An EU company that gives no VAT number is charged 25% VAT, and companies outside the EU are not charged VAT.

Cancellation must be in writing, from the customer panel or an authorized email, at least 45 days before expiry; for trustee domains the deadline is 90 days, and a canceled trustee domain can be deleted at once. Either side can end the agreement on 45 days' notice. Complaints and abuse reports go to the company by telephone or email, according to the terms; no separate DMCA procedure is published. The agreement is governed by Danish law, with disputes heard by the Maritime and Commercial Court of Copenhagen.

Getting started and support

The adult registration steps set out in the guide run in order: search for the adult name or pick an extension, add it to the cart, choose the registration type and DNS, create an account, choose a payment method and accept the terms. Login details arrive in a separate email, and the support team then updates the customer on the status of the registration. The terms say most gTLDs are registered within 24 hours, while some registries take weeks.

The account form asks for a company name, a VAT number for companies in the European Union and an optional organization number, plus a public email for WHOIS that the form says must be generic rather than personal under the EU's NIS2 requirements. Hosting orders ask for the operating system, the package and any domains to register.

The terms say support answers by telephone and email, usually within one hour during office hours, Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 19:00 CET, and within 36 hours outside them. The hosting pages add a chat window and list online and telephone support with contact available 24/7. The contact page gives separate addresses and lines for sales, support and accounting.

Company and track record

The company gives its founding year as 1998 and calls itself a global domain registrar since then. It says it is an accredited domain registrar in most countries and works directly with local domain authorities. The hosting pages promise at least 99% network availability on average, which is the company's own guarantee. The Partner Program serves hosting companies, web designers, internet marketers and overseas registrars with rebates and bulk discounts; the company says it stays an invisible partner, does not contact the partner's clients and invoices the partner directly.

Who it suits

The company suits an operator who wants one registrar for a portfolio of .SEX, .PORN, .SEXY or .XXX names alongside country domains, with a personal account manager, consolidated invoicing, automatic renewals and a single supplier for hosting and SSL. The Webhotel packages suit a site that wants unlimited traffic on a fixed monthly price.

It is a weaker fit for an adult operator who plans to hold names through the trustee service, given the suspension clause for "unethical or immoral" content, or who needs published adult hosting terms. Registration fees are never refunded, the 6-month minimum paid in advance on hosting is a real commitment, and the cancellation deadlines are long. Its strongest point is the breadth of its portfolio tools and the detail of its written terms.
