What the company is
SoxDomains is an international domain registrar and hosting brand. Its home page says "since 2010, businesses and entrepreneurs have trusted SoxDomains to register, protect and manage domain names across markets with different eligibility rules and local requirements," and describes 16 years of work on cross-border names, with a focus on country-code domains and trustee services. The site publishes no street address and does not say in which country the company is based. Its about page says the company operates the hosting infrastructure itself.
For a site operator the company is a single place to register an adult-named extension and then add hosting, an SSL certificate or email to the same account. The adult extensions it describes in detail are .xxx, .sex and .adult, and its related-domain blocks also list .porn. Each is described in terms of adult sites, adult media and adult products.
What it sells an operator
The .xxx page describes the extension for "adult-entertainment businesses, publishers of adult-themed websites, and adult-media projects," and lists uses such as an adult entertainment site, an adult media platform, an adult-themed publication and an adult product or service site. The .sex page describes the extension as centered on adult entertainment, sexual-health education, contraception and adult products or media, and names adult media sites and adult-oriented video content among its uses. The .adult guide describes it as a fit for adult projects, campaigns, landing pages and brands that want the purpose of the domain visible at once.
In October 2026 the .xxx page lists registration and renewal at $152.99 a year, and a transfer at $139.99 as a one-time fee. The .sex page lists registration, renewal and transfer at $215.77, and the price list gives .adult and .porn the same $215.77 a year. Registration runs from 1 to 10 years on each page. The .xxx and .adult pages say registration is instant, and the .sex page gives 24 hours. The registry is named as ICM Registry for each of the three, through separate registry companies.
WHOIS privacy is an optional add-on. As of October 2026 the .xxx and .sex pages list it at $3.99 for the first year, renewing at the same yearly price, and the home page says eligible new registrations get the first year free while that promotion runs. DNSSEC is supported on .xxx, .sex and .adult. The .xxx and .sex pages say internationalized names are not supported; .xxx names run from 2 to 63 characters, and the .adult guide allows 1 to 63 characters that cannot start or end with a dash. The home page lists DNS management, domain forwarding and theft protection among its core domain services, along with bulk tools and an API for developers and enterprises.
Hosting is sold as Linux shared plans named Standard, Personal and Business on cPanel, with cloud VPS and dedicated servers on separate pages. The plan table gives Standard 10 GB of web space, 150 GB of premium bandwidth and 25 email addresses, and gives Personal and Business unlimited web space, bandwidth and email, which the page says are subject to the applicable usage policy. Business adds unlimited addon domains and Magento among its shopping-cart options, and a dedicated IP is an extra on the two larger plans. Billing runs monthly, annually, for 24 months or for 36 months, setup is free, and the page says a free domain name depends on the plan and billing term. The prices do not line up across pages: in October 2026 the plan cards list Standard from $6.00 a month, while the comparison table header shows a lower starting rate for the same plan.
The comparison table lists CloudLinux account isolation, a Cloudflare CDN, automatic daily backups, the Softaculous installer with more than 150 scripts, shared SSL, free account migration and instant activation, with a 99.9% uptime guarantee and a 4-hour support guarantee. The cloud VPS page describes NVMe storage, root access, an Intel Gold 6230 platform, DDoS protection included and a 1 Gbps port, with plans running from 4GB to 32GB of RAM; in October 2026 the entry VPS is listed at $19.95 a month. The FAQ says standard VPS plans are unmanaged, with assisted setup, hardening and monitoring available, and that dedicated servers use Intel Xeon hardware with IPMI or KVM access, with custom builds taking 24 to 72 hours.
The terms that decide the choice
The adult domain pages do not set content rules for a site on the name. The .adult guide says the extension has no special use and needs no extra documents, and lists only the ICANN and registry reservations as restrictions: 2-character names are initially reserved, and names reserved for certain international organizations are not available. The .xxx and .sex pages say eligibility is confirmed against registry rules during order processing, that premium names may carry premium registry pricing, and, for .xxx, that additional registration requirements apply. The company says it reviews the registrant's information before it goes to the registry.
The Legal Center lists an Acceptable Use Policy, an Anti-abuse policy, an Unlimited Policy, a Domain Registration Agreement and Terms of Service. The hosting FAQ says CPU, memory, processes, storage and email use must stay within the plan and acceptable-use limits. None of the hosting pages says whether adult sites are allowed on shared hosting, cloud VPS or dedicated servers.
Abuse reports go through a public form that needs no account. The reporter gets a case number, can list up to 20 domains or URLs, and can attach up to 5 files; categories include phishing, malware, trademark and cybersquatting, copyright and DMCA, and illegal content. The page says "The abuse team decides the action; there is no automatic takedown," and that where SoxDomains does not host the website it cannot delete the content from the server. The DMCA policy lists the elements a copyright notice must carry, accepts it by email or through the abuse form, and says SoxDomains does not claim registered DMCA-agent status: it may pass the notice to the provider that controls the service, notify the affected customer, and act within its control, subject to any counter-notice or dispute process.
The billing FAQ lists Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal and bank transfers for qualifying orders, with all public prices in USD. Domain registration fees are generally non-refundable once processed, because names are registered with the registry on payment. Shared hosting carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, which the about page says is subject to the applicable terms. The extension pages describe a 40-day grace period in which a domain can be renewed without an additional fee, and note that the domain stops resolving on the day it expires; the FAQ adds that a redemption period with additional registry recovery fees follows an unpaid grace period. Auto-renewal charges the saved payment method before expiry.
Getting started and support
The order has 4 steps, as the .xxx page sets them out: find a domain, add it to the cart with a registration term and the registrant's details, add hosting, SSL or email if wanted, and then pay and launch from the SoxDomains account. DNS, renewal and transfers are managed from the same client area, which also takes sub-accounts with their own permissions. The FAQ says a transfer needs the registrar lock lifted and an EPP code, takes 5 to 7 days, and for most gTLDs adds a year of renewal.
The home page describes live human support around the clock and bilingual support, and the site runs in English and Spanish. Support runs through tickets in the client area, a contact form and email, backed by a FAQ, a knowledge base and an announcements page. The hosting FAQ says the support team will help plan a website migration from a cPanel host. The site gives no phone number for sales or support.
Company and track record
The home page says the company has helped businesses since 2010 and cites 16 years of work. It gives counts of more than 2,000 extensions, more than 100k domains under management and a DNS uptime of 99.99%, while the about page cites 1,500+ customers served. All of these are the company's own figures.
Who it suits
SoxDomains suits an operator who wants a .xxx, .sex, .adult or .porn name at a published dollar price, with DNSSEC and WHOIS privacy on offer, and who would like the domain, SSL and hosting in a single account. It also suits an operator who expects to move from shared hosting to a cloud VPS with NVMe storage and root access, or to a dedicated server, without changing provider.
It fits less well for an operator who needs the hosting acceptable use policy spelled out for adult content before buying, or a registrar with a published address. Domain fees are generally non-refundable, WHOIS privacy is an extra charge after any first-year promotion, and the shared hosting entry price differs between the plan cards and the comparison table.
The strongest point is the spread of services and the clarity of the domain terms: a buyer can register a name, add hosting and SSL, and move up to a VPS on a single account, with registry, length, privacy and transfer rules set out on each extension page.
