What the vendor is

Hosterion SRL is a web hosting and domain company. Its company page says it was founded in February 2004 as Elvsoft SRL in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and was renamed Hosterion SRL on 1 November 2016, with its VAT ID and other company details unchanged. The page says the company focuses on web hosting and domain names, and it lists the partner data centers where its own servers, routers and switches run: Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Amsterdam (Equinix AM6), London, Dallas and Fremont. For a site operator the products are shared web hosting, WordPress and Magento hosting, premium managed hosting, managed VPS, dedicated servers, business email hosting and the .adult domain. The client portal is offered in English, Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish.

What it sells an operator

The .adult page describes the extension as "an extension for adult websites" and gives its registry as ICM. The page says the extension was delegated to the root zone on 6 December 2014 and that it "can be registered by anyone". Registration runs for 1 to 10 years, internationalized names are not allowed, and names must be 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters. Each name can carry WHOIS privacy protection, and a name needs 2 or more nameservers. The page adds that the name is registered in the customer's own name, that the customer has full rights to use it and can move it to another provider at any time, and that hosting with the company is optional.

In October 2026 the .adult page lists registration at €69 a year and transfer and renewal at €110 a year each. The page says VAT is added to displayed prices in line with tax rules. Customers in Romania pay in lei at the National Bank of Romania exchange rate plus 2%. A transfer renews the name for 1 year.

The hosting plans are sold in tiers. In October 2026 the home page lists Web Hosting Basic at €4 a month, with 10 GB SSD storage, unlimited traffic, 4 hosted domains and a dedicated IPv6 address, and Web Hosting Plus at €10 a month, with 60 GB SSD storage and unlimited hosted domains, with a Standard tier between them. Every tier lists daily backup, premium DNS, Imunify360 site security and the LiteSpeed web server, and the home page notes that its prices do not include VAT. A dedicated IPv4 address can be added to a hosting package for a monthly fee. Windows hosting packages are offered for ASP.NET and SQL Server.

The managed VPS page includes a cPanel and WHM license for 5 cPanel users, and it prices extra cPanel users on a scale above that. The premium hosting page describes proactive management: a check every minute of a page that reaches the database, server monitoring, daily anti-malware scanning and free migration of the site. The business email page lists storage from 40 GB, daily backups and antivirus and antispam on its packages.

The terms that decide the choice

The .adult page says the registration and use of the name "must comply with these rules" set by the authority that manages the extension, and links the registry's rules. The hosting terms do not mention adult content in either direction. Their prohibited-uses clause bans illegal material, naming pirated software and other copyright-infringing files, unlicensed music and spam, and it bans activity that overloads the shared servers; newsletters need a confirmed opt-in list and the company's approval. A separate clause on content moderation says the company may restrict, suspend or end a service, or disable access to content, on a valid notice of illegal content or a breach of its terms, that it may forward a notice to the customer or inform the authorities, and that it has no general duty to monitor hosted content. An affected customer is told the reasons and how to contest the measure. The pages publish no rule on age checks or record keeping for adult sites.

Payment terms are stated in some detail. Services are paid in advance against proforma invoices, within 15 business days of issue, and as of October 2026 the terms say prices shown in euros are invoiced in lei at the National Bank of Romania rate plus 2%. A customer closing an account must give 15 days' notice by email, a late payment carries a penalty of 0.5% a day, and after 30 days unpaid the account is deleted from the server. The terms then allow a paid restore from an older backup where one exists, at €40 plus VAT for a shared package and a higher fee for a VPS. The contact page lists card payment in the client area and bank transfer, with cash at the office only for legal entities by appointment.

Refunds differ by product. The web hosting page says a shared hosting customer can ask for a full refund within the first 30 days, without giving a reason, and the footer states that the money-back guarantee does not apply to domains. Renewal terms for names are set out on the .adult page: a renewal invoice is issued and emailed 14 days before expiry, an expiry notice goes out 60 days before, names have a grace period of up to 45 days after expiry, and a deleted name sits in a 30-day quarantine. Paying the renewal invoice is optional for a name the customer no longer wants.

The hosting pages promise 99.9% uptime per year, and the terms read in October 2026 set out compensation by month: a share of the monthly fee rising in steps as availability falls below 99.9%, up to the full monthly fee at under 90%. For reports, the DSA page names a single point of contact for recipients of the service. It takes reports of illegal content, abuse notifications, phishing or malware reports and complaints about content moderation, and it asks reporters to include the URL, a description and any legal references. A separate contact point handles requests under the EU regulation on terrorist content and is limited to that regulation. The pages give no DMCA procedure and no takedown timeline.

Getting started and support

Hosting orders start from the store on the site, and domains from a check form on the .adult page, which asks the buyer to check availability and register by completing it. The web hosting page describes free SSL for every hosted domain, installed from the control panel, with Let's Encrypt certificates renewed automatically. Softaculous, an installer for ready-made applications, comes with every web hosting package. Migration is offered free: the home page says a site already hosted elsewhere is moved at no extra cost.

Support is described in 2 ways. The contact page says technical support is available 24/7 by email, and the home page adds telephone support around the clock. The billing department is listed as reachable Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, except on Romanian national holidays. A client-portal news item says a LiveChat channel opened from 3 November 2025, alongside phone support daily from 09:00 to 23:00.

Company and track record

The company page dates the business to 2004 and says it stopped offering web design and other services to focus on hosting and domains. It records the free IntoDNS diagnostics tool launched in October 2007, the IntoVPS unmanaged VPS brand launched in June 2009, status as the first Microsoft Certified Partner in hosting solutions in Romania from April 2009, a Google partnership for its email and collaboration suite in July 2017 and free anycast DNS for all customers from December 2018. The contact page gives an office in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Who it suits

For an adult site owner who wants a .adult name paired with hosting from a Romanian company, the offer is a clear list of prices, daily backups, free SSL, 24/7 technical support and a refund window on shared hosting. The home page lists shared hosting, Magento hosting and managed VPS as available in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, London, Amsterdam, Dallas and Fremont, which gives a choice of region in Europe and the United States.

It fits less well for an operator who needs a written adult content policy for hosting or a DMCA process, because the pages publish neither. The domain refund exclusion is a limit on the .adult name, and the late-payment penalty and the 30-day deletion rule leave little room for a missed invoice.

The strength is the plain price list for the core products and the stated refund, renewal and payment terms, which an operator can check before buying.
