Domain-Offensive

Tap a star to rate

Domain-Offensive is a domain registrar and web host, and the footer names Greenmark IT GmbH as the company behind the pages. The pages are in German, and the company says it has supported customers since 2006 with domains, web hosting, SSL certificates and DNS. For a site operator it is a registrar that holds an .adult name and a German host that can serve the site, with a reseller interface for managing client domains through an API.

What it sells an operator

The .adult page is the core product page. It says the extension was introduced specifically for the erotic and pornography industry. It also presents the extension as a tool for filtering: filters meant to keep minors away from such offers can block the whole .adult extension, and the page says site operators can use the extension to add a layer of protection for themselves. The page states that .adult names can be registered by any company with legal capacity and by private individuals.

In October 2026 the page listed the registration at €11.99 a month including 19% VAT for new registrations, with a minimum term of 12 months, a 30-day notice period and renewal at the list price. The page says the monthly price does not apply to premium domains. Setup, transfer, update and owner change carry no fee on the page, while restoring a deleted name carries a separate restore fee listed in the same table.

In October 2026 the hosting pages listed web hosting plans on a monthly or annual term. The entry plan, basicWEB, carries a one-time €14.99 setup fee on the monthly term. It offers 10 GB of storage, a 192 MB memory limit, 25 mailboxes and room for 5 domains. The premiumWEB plan offers 25 GB, 256 MB, 100 mailboxes and 10 domains. The businessWEB plan, at €14.99 a month, offers 50 GB, 512 MB, 250 mailboxes and 25 domains. Every plan includes a free basic SSL certificate, and the annual term removes the setup fee. Each domain on an account gets its own directory.

The hosting page says the infrastructure is located only in Germany and is therefore subject to the strict requirements of the DSGVO, the German data protection regulation it names, and the home page says the company's data centers are all in Germany. It also advertises PHP 8.5, SSD storage for files and MySQL data, hacking protection with a firewall, one-click WordPress installation, IMAP and POP3 access, and climate-neutral hosting, with one tree planted per hosting package. The hosting pages do not mention adult content, so the published adult framing covers the .adult name rather than the webspace.

Around the name itself the home page lists DynDNS for dynamic IP addresses and a Domain-Safe product with Anycast, described as extra protection against manipulation of DNS settings. DNSSEC and two-factor authentication sit in the security menu. The reseller interface is the piece most relevant to a network: the hosting page describes it as a B2B tool that automates domain management through an API.

The terms that decide the choice

The registration rules on the .adult page are specific. After registration the registrant must validate the WHOIS data by confirming a link in an e-mail. If that is not done within 14 days, the domain is switched off on the 15th day, following ICANN rules, and it is reconnected only after validation. Premium names are assigned by the registry to a premium list and can carry a higher registration price. The company says it reports surcharges during ordering where it knows the premium status, and that otherwise a registration can fail.

The registry rules add further limits. After a registration or a transfer, a 60-day registry lock applies, during which the domain cannot be deleted or transferred, and the page says the lock cannot be lifted. The page also lists the registry as GoDaddy Registry, states that umlauts and special characters are not allowed, and says the name is registered in real time but not transferred in real time. Trustee service is not offered, WHOIS privacy is, and DNSSEC is supported.

Transfers follow an auth-code procedure. The auth code can be entered at checkout or added after the order. Once a transfer starts, the current registrar informs the registrant, who has a 5-day right to object. If there is no objection, the transfer is approved automatically and completes on the sixth day. A change of owner may only be made with the registrant's consent, and if there is doubt, a legally binding declaration may be requested.

The anti-abuse policy is the most detailed document on the site. It applies alongside the registry's own anti-abuse and acceptable-use policies and treats a breach of the policy as a breach of the contract for the domain or hosting. It covers DNS abuse such as phishing, pharming, malware and botnets, infringement of trademark and copyright, material depicting the sexual abuse of children, the sale of prescription drugs, and content that breaks German criminal law. Notices must identify the domain and explain the alleged breach. The company forwards a notice to the customer or reseller, and as a rule sets a response deadline of not less than 2 working days. Where a site poses a threat such as malware, the company reserves the right to suspend at once, and for criminal content it reserves the right to file a complaint with the authorities and, for child abuse material, to inform a hotline of the INHOPE network. The customer must answer a notice without delay and say whether it will remove the material or contest the claim. The policy also states that the company does not review or monitor the legality of registrations or content offered by resellers and their customers.

The policy is written around German law. It does not describe a DMCA notice procedure, a counter-notice process or a repeat-infringer rule, and it says nothing about record-keeping or age verification for adult content.

The pages describe no merchant or payment product. The footer links pages for payment methods, for canceling a contract and for withdrawing from one, but the pages do not spell out accepted payment methods or refund terms. The support page offers PDF forms for a contract takeover and for a direct debit authorization.

Getting started and support

Support runs mostly in office hours. Phone support runs on weekdays from 9 to 17 o'clock, and the page says a voicemail message brings a callback as soon as possible. E-mail is answered on weekdays between 9 and 17. Live chat runs Monday to Friday from 9 to 17, and the page offers a transcript of a chat on request. The ticket system is reachable around the clock, with the status of a request visible at any time. The support page also publishes PGP key details for encrypted mail.

Complaints and abuse reports go through an abuse form that asks for name, address, phone number and the domains concerned. The support page says each report is confirmed by e-mail within 3 working days and that the aim is to resolve each case within 10 working days, with an expected timeline given when a case needs longer. Answers are closed automatically after 48 hours if the complainant does not reply.

An .adult order starts with the availability check, then the order, then the e-mailed link that validates the registrant data. On the hosting page the customer picks a plan on a monthly or annual term. A separate hosting move page offers a service for customers switching from another provider, in 3 steps: a request and order confirmation through a contact form with a tailored quote, the move itself, then a test and go-live check. The page says a pure hosting move including domains is often done within a few hours, while moving websites and e-mail can take one to two days depending on data volume.

Company and track record

The company brands its services as Domain-Offensive. The home page says it has managed more than 300,000 domains and that tens of thousands of customers rely on it, and a blog item reports a nomination in two categories for a web host of the year award in 2026. Its reference section quotes a rating of 4.87 out of 5 from more than 5147 customers who rated it. The pages give no headcount and no named client list.

The company also runs an affiliate program for people who refer new customers. As of October 2026 its page lists a commission of up to €70 per new customer, a 60-day cookie and bank transfer payouts from €20, confirmed 30 days after the referred service is paid.

Who it suits

Domain-Offensive fits an operator who wants a registrar and host in Germany, a clear published abuse procedure and a reseller interface for managing client domains by API. It also suits an operator who is comfortable with German-language support during German office hours and who wants DNSSEC and WHOIS privacy on the name.

It fits less well for an operator who needs a written adult content policy for hosting, a DMCA process, record-keeping or age-verification tooling, or support outside office hours. Phone and live chat are limited to weekday daytime, and the ticket system is the only route at night. The 60-day registry lock and the absence of a stated refund term for a name make it hard to move quickly, so the choice of name has to be settled before buying.

The caveats are plain: the monthly .adult price excludes premium names, a restore costs a separate fee, and the abuse policy allows suspension on short notice.

The strongest case is the combination of a German registrar and host with a published abuse policy that spells out notice handling, response periods and the company's position on reseller content, all in a single account.
