What Centrobill is

Centrobill describes itself as a global payment gateway and fintech company specializing in high-risk payment processing and banking integration. The company page says it was founded in 2011 by a team with payments industry experience, and its terms state that the company is located in the Republic of Cyprus. Adult entertainment is the first industry on its list, ahead of forex, gaming, dating, gambling and software. The adult page is headed as an adult payment gateway for high-risk processing and promises to help adult merchants get merchant accounts. The reader it addresses is a site operator that has been declined or priced out by mainstream processors: a membership site, a premium video network, a live-streaming service or any adult business that bills subscriptions across borders.

What it sells an operator

The adult page lists the product in plain terms. Subscriptions can be recurring or free trial, with weekly, monthly and annual cycles and custom plans for premium memberships. A Rebill Optimizer redirects failed transactions to alternative banks, and smart retry logic repeats a failed subscription payment at timings meant to raise success rates, and the list adds automated authorization retry and subscription recovery. A remember-me one-click payment flow supports cross-sales and upsells, and subscription management, membership management and NATS integration are listed beside multi-currency payment options, analytics and reporting.

The routing layer is the core pitch. Smart Routing sends payments through banks with the highest acceptance rates for adult transactions, Decline Cascading automatically reattempts a declined transaction with alternative acquiring banks, and BIN Optimization prioritizes banks that favor high-risk transactions. Checkout pages are custom-branded and mobile friendly, and payment options include credit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers and cryptocurrencies, supplemented by regional methods through alternative payment method partners. The home page FAQ names Visa, Mastercard and Amex among the card brands and 3D Secure among the anti-fraud measures. Centrobill MAX is the name given to the optimization suite in the case studies, built from Smart Routing and Rebill Optimizer: the first picks the processor most likely to approve each transaction from card type, geography, issuer behavior and success history, and the second times retries of failed payments on issuer signals and historical trends while avoiding excessive retries. Further pages cover UPI, iDEAL and open banking for regional buyers, and a separate Compliance-as-a-Service offer aimed at acquirers and payment service providers that onboard AI-driven merchants; that last product is sold to banks, not to site operators.

On risk, the page names real-time fraud monitoring described as AI-powered transaction screening, chargeback prevention tools, clear transaction descriptors and intelligent fraud scrubbing with chargeback prevention through Ethoca, Verify and RDR. The PCI DSS page explains what the Level 1 certification involves, an annual on-site audit by a Qualified Security Assessor, network scans and penetration testing and a Report on Compliance, and the company presents itself as a Level 1 processor.

The terms that decide the choice

The pages say adult is within scope and say little about limits. No acceptable use policy for adult content, no prohibited-content list and no approval criteria are published, and neither a DMCA procedure nor an age-verification duty for merchants is described. What an operator can read is the commercial model: pricing is custom, based on factors such as location, risk level, transaction volume and payment methods. The FAQ states that merchant approval and onboarding take 3-5 business days on average. No processing rate, setup fee, reserve percentage, chargeback fee, payout schedule, payout minimum or contract length is published. The PCI DSS page says it provides access to trusted high-risk acquiring banks, offshore merchant accounts and alternative methods.

The strongest published evidence is a set of case studies for named adult brands, all reporting results from the first 3 months or 90 days of Centrobill MAX. In its Brazzers case study, as read in October 2026, the page reports an 11.8% increase in approval rates globally and a 26% reduction in failed transactions, along with revenue growth and lower fees. MyDirtyHobby and RealityKings are the other named brands, each with its own set of figures. These results are the vendor's own reporting for large adult brands.

The buyer-facing terms of service, which govern members who pay through Centrobill, show how disputes are treated. Membership fees become nonrefundable once the member can log in to the merchant site, refunds go only to the original payment method, and automatic renewal needs notice 2 business days before renewal, or 24 hours before a trial ends. In October 2026 the terms also state that an administration fee of up to $2.00 may be applied to keep a subscription active after an unsuccessful recurring payment, and returned bank payments carry a handling fee of up to $25. A free trial paid by credit card places a reserved-funds hold on the card. Disputes go first to ICC mediation in Nicosia, then to ICC arbitration in the Republic of Cyprus, under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The terms also include a clause allowing the company to email members adult oriented material, which an operator may want to read before connecting a membership flow.

Getting started and support

Signing up means contacting the team through the website, submitting an application and following the guidance through approval and integration. The PCI page adds that an applicant provides the necessary business documentation; the pages do not itemize which documents. Integration is described as easy API integration with major e-commerce platforms, pre-built payment page templates and customizable payment forms, and the team offers setup services. Payment pages are mobile optimized. The developers section and a resellers program sit in the navigation.

Support is described as dedicated account managers, technical assistance for API and payment integrations, and chargeback and risk management guidance. Hours and channels are not given, and the contact page directs consumers who need help with a payment to a separate help site, while other inquiries go through a form.

Company and track record

The crypto page repeats the 2011 founding, claims over a decade of high-risk processing experience and calls Centrobill a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Named adult clients appear only in the case studies, where MyDirtyHobby, RealityKings and Brazzers are described as using Centrobill MAX. Regional landing pages cover USA and Canada, LATAM, Asia, Europe and Australia. The pages name no certifications beyond PCI DSS Level 1, no industry memberships and no team members.

Who it suits

For adult payment processing, Centrobill suits a subscription site or network that already bills across several countries and wants routing, decline cascading and rebill recovery handled by one gateway. For high-risk merchant accounts, it positions itself as an access point to a global network of acquiring banks rather than a bank, with approval and onboarding in days and pricing by quote. Its strength is the specificity of the optimization tools and the published results from large adult brands.
