What the vendor is
AVSCMS writes and sells AVS, a self-hosted tube script, to people who run video sites. Its home page offers a video, photo and blog script for tube sites and communities that carry "adult and non-adult" material, and it sells the software alongside setup, hosting and dedicated server services. The footer gives the company's address as Canada and carries a copyright line reading 2008 to 2026.
What it sells an operator
The product is the AVS script. The home page describes the current release as AVS 8.1, with a "completely redesigned Responsive Template" and VAST and VPAID video ads, and it lists the latest version as V8.2, dated 2023-2-22. The script lets users upload, host, share and watch videos, photos and blogs. Its video transcoding engine converts uploads into the resolutions the operator sets in the admin panel, a multi-server system stores and streams videos from secondary servers to spread the load, and a multi-language system runs on language files. The vendor offers "100% un-encrypted source-code access" so that an operator can change functions and layout.
The home page's call to action is a "Buy AdultVideoScript" button, and it prints no license price for the script; the pricing and ordering page is linked from the menu. The services are priced separately. In October 2026 the services pages priced script installation as a flat fee of $29, server setup for the required conversion modules at $49 and branding removal at $39. The Lighttpd setup service, which the vendor describes as a streaming alternative to progressive download with seeking, hotlink protection and a bandwidth limit per visitor, has no price on its page.
Hosting comes either as shared plans or as managed dedicated servers. The shared plans come from third-party hosting partners and start at $7.95 a month, as the hosting page read in October 2026. The page adds a 99.5% uptime guarantee, which is the hosting partners' claim, and free script installation with a plan. Those plans carry unlimited storage, bandwidth and domains, a free domain for life, a dedicated IP address and instant activation. The dedicated server page lists managed servers in North America and Europe, with a Power server at $249 a month and a Storage server at $349 a month, both as listed that month. Power has an Intel Xeon E-2136 with 6 cores and 12 threads, 32GB RAM and 2 x 4TB drives in soft RAID. Storage has an Intel Xeon D-1541 with 8 cores and 16 threads, 32GB RAM, 4 x 12TB drives and 2 x 240GB SSDs, each set in soft RAID. Both list configurable hardware, OS, control panel, RAID, IPs and private nameservers. Both come with a 1G bit port, fully managed service, anti-DDoS mitigation and the AVS requirements installed, including Lighttpd and Nginx. The page claims a 99.9% uptime guarantee, and says an operator who orders a server gets free script installation and free server setup.
The terms that decide the choice
The pages describe tube sites for "adult and non-adult videos", and the hosting page calls its shared plans "ideal for running adult and non-adult video websites". No acceptable use policy, DMCA procedure or abuse procedure is published. The hosting page says compatibility, uptime and performance come from third-party partners and that the company is not responsible for problems on partner servers.
Refund terms appear only on the service pages. The Lighttpd and server setup pages say refunds are not given for reasons surrounding a client's lack of knowledge of a service's terms, and that a buyer who cannot provide SSH root access will not be refunded. Server setup and Lighttpd setup both need SSH root access, along with FTP or cPanel access. Lighttpd works only on dedicated or VPS servers. The hosting page lists a 30-day money back guarantee for its plans. No refund term is given for the script license itself.
The service pages set out working rules. Each setup is finished only after the client tests and confirms it. The Lighttpd page says the company will not provide free support if the script stops working because of the client's later modifications or server configuration changes. Setup takes a maximum of 2 working days because of demand, and installation requires that the server meets the script's requirements before the work starts.
The partner program runs through the Envient network. In October 2026 the program page offered a 20.00% share on sales sent, with a 120 calendar day cookie window and monthly payments to a prepaid debit MasterCard, by wire transfer, by check or by PayPal. Envient takes care of ordering, delivery and customer support for the partner's customers. The page ends with a note that signup is coming soon, and it gives no minimum payout. The program is pitched at web development companies, designers, hosting companies and web marketers, with no setup fee and no performance targets.
Getting started and support
For installation, the service asks for FTP or cPanel access to the website and a server that meets the requirements, and it does not include the server modules, which are a separate service. The Lighttpd setup does not include script installation or server setup, and the page recommends having both in place first.
Support runs through a helpdesk that the page labels 24x7 support, with ticket submission, staff queues and attachments. The support page sends technical questions to the helpdesk and sales or billing questions to a contact form with subjects such as pre-sales, live demo, partnerships and billing. The menu also lists a client area, community forums and a bug tracker. The shared hosting page adds 24/7 support by live chat from the hosting partner. The helpdesk lets a requester track ticket status and SLA, but no response time is printed.
Custom design, functionality customization and development are offered on request, and the custom work page gives no prices or timelines. The Branding Free service removes any visual reference to the company, including the "Powered by" link, on all pages of the script. The page says replacing the logo, website title and copyright text does not need that service, and that the copyright references in the PHP file headers must stay.
Company and track record
The company is named AVSCMS, with a copyright line from 2008 to 2026 and an address given as Canada. The home page quotes a webmaster testimonial that praises the support as fast and effective. No team, client list or certifications are named. The menu's news block shows a single item, dated April 23, 2022, about plugin updates.
Who it suits
The fit is strongest for an operator who wants to run a tube or community site, keep access to the source code and host the script on a VPS or dedicated server. A small operator can begin with a shared plan from the hosting partners, and a larger one can take the managed Power or Storage server with the requirements installed. Operators who want to change the layout or add features will find the source code access, the transcoding engine and the multi-server system the most concrete parts of the offer.
The fit is weaker for an operator who needs a written adult content policy, a refund on the script license or a published license price. It is also a weaker fit for an operator who has no server access, because the Lighttpd and server setup services both need SSH root access and do not run on shared hosting. The limits are plain: hosting depends on partners, setup can take 2 working days, and the refund and support limits are written into each service page. Its strength is a long-running tube script with open source code, transcoding and multi-server streaming built in, and a vendor that will install it, set up the server and host it.
